Alan Brawn

With more than two decades of expertise, Alan is an AV industry veteran. Prior to founding Brawn Consulting, he served as the President of Telanetix and was National Business Development Manager and National Product Marketing Manager, Pro AV Group at Samsung Electronics. His experience also includes managing a Pro AV systems integration company as well as co-founding Hughes-JVC.

Alan is a respected author for leading AV industry magazines. He has been an Imaging Science Foundation fellow and instructor since 1994 and is a co-founder of ISF Commercial. He holds CTS certification, is a CTS Prep instructor, and is a member of InfoComm’s PETC council as well as being an adjunct faculty member of that organization. Alan was the recipient of the Pro AV Hall of Fame recognition from rAVe in 2004.

Jonathan Brawn

Jonathan literally grew up in the AV industry, with over 12 years of experience in technology, design and educational development. Prior to Brawn Consulting, he was Director of Technical Services for Visual Appliances, a firm that manufactures ZeroBurn plasma display technology. He also successfully ran his own AV integration group, Brawn & Associates, serving the residential and commercial AV markets in southern California.

Jonathan has extensive experience in AV systems design and integration, as well as expertise in the development of educational development programs. Starting with Hughes JVC in the early 90’s, Jonathan worked alongside his father Alan in creating and building training programs for the AV industry. His work included programs for InfoComm and major manufacturers and dealers across the nation, specializing in technical, sales, and marketing development. Jonathan is also a co-founder of ISF-Commercial.

Dave Norton

Dave possesses ten years of Information Technology and Multimedia knowledge. He emigrated from Australia to the U.S. to work with Brawn Consulting. He has a significant amount of experience in computer software and hardware, as well as networking, computer security and technical support.

Holding a Bachelor of Multimedia Studies from Central Queensland University, Dave is particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of web-based applications, as well as the convergence of the AV and IT industries.
