Combined Almo/IAVI Team On-Hand, World’s First Keynote Delivered Entirely in 4K Available on Facebook; New AV Snacks Webinar Led By NEC Featuring E4 “Solutions Corner”

Philadelphia, PA — May 9, 2016 — For the second time this spring, Almo Professional A/V welcomed a packed room of hundreds of resellers, integrators and consultants to its award-winning E4 AV Tour in Atlanta, GA on April 27. The event featured a combined Almo and IAVI staff presenting on a unified front as the acquisition details are finalized. E4 also included the world’s first 4K keynote address delivered entirely in 4K and an integrated “Solutions Corner” that has become so popular it will be presented as an “AV Snack” on May 17.

“Last month, the E4 Tour made its first stop ever in Atlanta — we were greeted by an event space filled with AV professionals eager to network and learn how to grow their businesses,” said Melody Craigmyle, vice president of marketing for Almo Professional A/V. “It was ideal to have the combined Almo/IAVI team on hand to interact with our attendees as we move into the final steps of the transition, which is expected to be completed this month.”

E4 Keynote E4 Atlanta featured the world’s first keynote focused specifically on 4K. Led by Gary Kayye, founder of rAVe Publications and presented using the Barco HDX-4K20 projector, the session discussed the misinformation about 4K, such as exaggerated specs, compatibility and performance. Kayye discussed how to specify, sell and integrate these systems right the first time with just the facts and he shared the top four applications for 4K.

The Solutions Corner – Almo AV Snack Led by NEC Shown on the exhibit hall floor during E4 Atlanta, The Solutions Corner represented Almo Pro A/V’s commitment to being the leading value-add distribution partner for AV integrators.
