InfoComm 2026 marks one of the first major industry events for James Salter in his new role as Vice President of Vendor Marketing for Almo Pro AV. Bringing more than two decades of experience across the Pro AV and technology industries, including leadership positions at Microsoft, AVer and Canon, Salter has built a reputation for developing successful vendor strategies and delivering measurable marketing results.

Almo Pro AV Delivers Industry Education

Almo Pro AV continues its commitment to professional development with educational sessions led by Tom Kehr, CTS-D, CTS-I, Network+, ISF-C, LEED Green Associate, ATD Master Trainer. Since 1986, Kehr has been involved in the design, installation, operation, purchasing and training of professional audiovisual systems.

This session explores the fundamentals of room acoustics and background noise, helping attendees understand why some spaces support communication more effectively than others. Participants will learn practical strategies to improve intelligibility and create environments that foster collaboration and idea-sharing.

 Wed., June 17, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 PM: The Basics of Power and Grounding

Power and grounding remain among the most misunderstood topics in Pro AV. This session provides a practical understanding of electrical grounding, ground faults, circuit load calculations, isolated grounds, rack grounding, ground loops and noise mitigation techniques to help attendees design code-compliant systems with confidence.

Philanthropic Support Focused on Industry Impact

Giving back remains a core part of Almo Pro AV's culture. During InfoComm 2026, the company will spotlight its support of several organizations dedicated to advancing education, sustainability and community impact throughout the AV industry.
