The unit is menu-driven using a full-color LCD display. Each - MC1 operates as a Controller or Satellite control permitting up to eight units to work together to control sources or levels. Setup is accomplished in a browser session hosted by the -NMC1. The installer enables menus and submenus required to provide the desired end user control, with the option of customizing the screen menu and function names.Source Selection is uniquely powerful. Selecting a source on the screen menu sends a command to receive data on a particular Dante channel and simultaneously to route a specific channel from any Dante device on the network to the receiver. Each selection can also set the gain of the source and route that source to multiple amplifiers and set the perating level of the digital signal to each amplifier. Up to eight Dante routing settings are possible for each source selected including an option to clear existing routings.Volume may be configured to adjust a group of Dante flows and/or to adjust each individual signal in the group separately. If individual attenuation levels are set to different values, the level offsets in dB are preserved while adjusting the group level. Audio Mute is provided on one button with an indicator on the screen.Each D-NMC1 is configured either as a Controller or a Satellite. When operating as the Controller, one or more satellite controls can be pointed at the Controller which arbitrates the requests and sends single commands to the devices the Controller is adjusting. When operating as a Satellite, it sends commands to a Controller which relays them to the controlled devices.When adjustments are not being made, the -NMC1 display is dimmed. It returns to normal intensity upon any button push. Each function may be configured to automatically lock after 30 seconds of inactivity. When a function is locked, a button push sequence is required to unlock that function. The unlock sequence is programmable by the installer and may be reprogrammed if required.The D-NMC1 provides a wide range of capabilities for setting and adjusting sources and volumes. Navigation arrows guide the end user through the selection choices in an intuitive and attractive interface that is powerful, yet simple to operate.

A rear-panel switch configures the control as the MASTER. The MASTER mode causes this control to drive the 0 to 10 Vdc ramp output and to monitor its pulse terminals in case any other -RLC10 controls are connected.As many as nine additional -RLC10 controls may be wired in parallel with the MASTER control using UTP cable (CAT5, CAT6 or equivalent). The rear-panel MODE switch on each additional remote control is set to SLAVE mode.Operation is the same for a single control, or for each control connected in a multiple control point installation. The 0 to 10 Vdc ramp voltage is incremented up or down when the front-panel knob is rotated. Acceleration is provided so the rate of change is faster when the knob is rotated more rapidly, yielding a responsive feel and rapid elimination of acoustic feedback. The LED ring display encircling the control knob operates as a virtual pointer. When an -RLC10 is not being adjusted, its display switches to a dim intensity to avoid being a visual distraction. The display returns to a bright intensity during adjustment.In the event of power loss, internal non-volatile memory stores the last level value. When power is restored, the 0 to 10 V output will return to the operating level present when power was lost.Multiple -RLC10 controls set to the SLAVE MODE may be connected to an RDL RU-VCA2A or RU-VCA6A, utilizing the VCA as the ramp generator. This connection is also possible with OEM equipment accepting open-collector pulses that are compatible with the -RLC10 output pulse rate and width.The -RLC10 controls are constructed on a steel frame. The electronics are fully protected within the rear enclosure. Connections are made through a rear panel detachable terminal block.All the D SERIES-RLC10 features combine to make it the ideal choice for single point or multiple location remote level control in high quality systems. The LED ring display encircling the control knob operates as a virtual pointer. When an -RLC10M is not being adjusted, its display switches to a dim intensity to avoid being a visual distraction. The display returns to a bright intensity during adjustment.Upon power-up or re-powering after a power loss, the 0 to 10 Vdc ramp will output either a preset level or the last level used. The power-up mode is stored when the control is installed. When programmed for the preset level mode, the user can store a new preset level by holding the MUTE button for more than 3 seconds.Multiple -RLC10M controls set to the SLAVE MODE may be connected to an RDL RU-VCA2A or RU-VCA6A, utilizing the VCA as the ramp generator. This connection is also possible with OEM equipment accepting open-collector pulses that are compatible with the -RLC10M output pulse rate and width.The -RLC10M controls are constructed on a steel frame. The electronics are fully protected within the rear enclosure. Connections are made through a rear panel detachable terminal block. The MUTE pushbutton is a long-life switch mounted to provide protection from excessive frontal force.All the D SERIES-RLC10M features combine to make it the ideal choice for single point or multiple location remote level control with muting in high quality systems.
